Fiona Humphries
Fiona runs FIGR Ventures and the Harrington Foundation, a charitable foundation funded by the same family office. She is responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s strategies, as well as overseeing the day-to-day running including finance, operations and brand. Fiona leads the due diligence process and investment committee for prospective investments, and works closely with Ellie to provide support to portfolio businesses.
Fiona started her career as an Analyst at CIL Management Consultants, carrying out buy- and sell-side due diligence for investors and working on strategy projects for scale-up businesses. Before setting up FIGR and the Harrington Foundation in 2024, Fiona was Head of New Business Development for Hearst UK, where she diversified revenues by launching e-commerce platforms for home and lifestyle brands Country Living and House Beautiful. She later formed the Small Business Partnerships team to develop opportunities for entrepreneurs to access e-commerce, events and media opportunities. Fiona has a BSc in Physical Geography from Durham University and an MSc in Entrepreneurship from Cass Business School. During her Masters, Fiona ran a small painting business.
Outside of work, Fiona enjoys painting and drawing, (terrible) karaoke, walks with her dog Murphy and spending time with family.
